Diamond (Take care) (2021)

Millions of years with very high pressures at great depths are the necessary conditions for the creation of this extraordinary material, the diamond. In the same way, to create, to find music, to let it emerge, one must dig inside, overcome the pressure, the resistance that is life itself, driven by passion, by feelings, by one's own history. And, from the depths, allow the music, like a diamond, to show itself, pure, iridescent, precious. I could define myself as a pianist / miner who explores and descends into the deepest places where what is precious is found. There is another feature that fascinates me about the diamond: it is transparent and at the same time capable of generating infinite colors when a drop of light passes through it, breaking into a thousand different variations, a thousand colors. Here is another meaning of "Diamond", music as that drop of light that opens, declines, becomes sound, then notes, then harmony, crossing the diamond in a mysterious path. And then the notes are reflections, they are decompositions, the declination of that one drop, that one feeling.

Milioni di anni con pressioni altissime a grandi profondità, sono le condizioni necessarie alla creazione di questo materiale straordinario, il diamante. Allo stesso modo per creare, per trovare la musica, per lasciarla emergere, bisogna scavare dentro, vincere la pressione, la resistenza che è la vita stessa, spinti dalla passione, dai sentimenti, dalla propria storia. E, dalle profondità, permettere che la musica, come un diamante, si mostri, pura, cangiante, preziosa. Potrei definirmi un pianista/minatore che esplora e si cala nei luoghi più profondi dove si trova quello che è prezioso. Vi è un'altra caratteristica che mi affascina del diamante: è trasparente e contemporaneamente in grado di generare infiniti colori quando una goccia di luce lo attraversa infrangendosi in mille variazioni diverse, mille cromie. Ecco un altro significato di “Diamond”, la musica come quella goccia di luce che si apre, si declina, si fa suono, poi nota, poi armonia, attraversando il diamante in un percorso misterioso. E allora le note sono riflessi, sono scomposizioni, declinazione di quell'unica goccia, quell'unico sentimento.
